Beats him to death, actually. That's why you never see him again.

agree with the original poster, it was never that obvious that it was tiger he killed.

he's always wearing a hat in the movie prior to the ass-kicking he gets from donnie yen, which is probably why the original poster didn't notice that the guy getting beat up was Tiger. I didn't realize it was him until watching it the second time

reply

Damn. Xu Ying looks differentcompared to his Kung Fu Hustle role.

reply

In the out-takes at the end he gets a head injury colliding with the truck mirror so perhaps it wasn't Tiger in the film getting beaten to death. It sure doesn't look like him!

reply

Yeah, I think they used a different guy because the real Tiger had a head injury.

....What? Almost everyone on this thread is insane. When Donnie Yen's character fights Tiger, it's clearly Xing Yu he's fighting. Either you're all crazy or racist.

I didnt think it was Tiger he fought. I assumed he just ran away or something!

A hired goon? Criminal organisations tend to consist of more then just 3 people.

Here is a link to the fight. You can clearly see Donnie Yen is fighting Xing Yu (Tiger in the movie.)! This is not that hard!

This had me confused as well. It probably has to do that before that scene Tiger is always seen wearing a tanktop and that hat. In that scene, he wears something completely different and it throws you off. After the movie ended I actually went back to the fight to see if it was him (I figured it out when I wondered where he was during the final battle).

Wow. It seems like most of the people hear didn't watch the movie. It is clearly shown that Tiger and Colin Chou's character infiltrate the hospital and disguise themselves as janitors. Janitor or not Tiger still loojs like Tiger. he still had his janitor clothes on just without the hat.

reply

from what i remember, donnie yen beats tiger to death at the "restaurant". afterwards, he's getting blasted by his superior (the lady) for beating a suspect to death. donnie, being the hot-headed cop in this movie, obviously didn't care and thought he did the right thing.

reply

Either you're all crazy or racist.

Neither. They're all just unbelievably stupid.

The guy Donnie beat to death clearly looked like Tiger.
It didn't matter if his clothes were not the usual or he didn't wear the typical hat or whatever he wore. It was still clearly him by his FACE.
