bleeped out swear words?

there was a basketball dribble at every swear word, amazingly annoying.

I thought that was funny. A couple of times they threw in some ping-pong hits on the swear words. That was one of my favorite parts of the movie. That and “my ninjas”.

It bugged me at first but when you look at the entire movie, it's actually pretty safe for a teen or pre-teen audience minus the swearing. It has no nudity or sex and the racial undertones are more exploratory than inflammatory. It has a moral to the story too. You take out the swearing and the movie will be more suitable for a wider audience. Plus you could clearly tell what he was saying each time... and that bit near the end of the movie where he was swearing his head off and the basketball noise was going crazy was pretty funny.
