Amazon.com has it listed as not yet available, but you can ask them to let you know when it is. That's what I did.

VideoETA says it was released on December 23, but it looks like the distribution of the DVD is as bad as the distribution of the movie in theaters. It's still listed at amazon.com, but not yet available.

As for me, I'm prepared for this to possibly bee a very substandard movie, but still hope eventually to see it just for my own satisfaction, rather than take the word of others. It may well be worth seeing as long as one isn't expecting a lot from it. I'm sure it won't be any worse than JINGLE ALL THE WAY and DECK THE HALLS.

Don't even see the movie. I'm from Edmonton, I've seen the movie, I LOVE West Edmonton Mall, I have been to the mall several times when the movie was in shooting.

But this movie was a wreck.

First off, us Canucks don't say "Eh" every 2 seconds like in the movie. Trust me, I'm Canadian. I should know.

The acting was terrible. Swayze just goes through the motions, Kattan overracts, Electra goes trough the motions as well.

It's so easy to tell the Los Angeles scenes are just spring/summertime Edmonton. Trust me, as a Native E-towner, I've basically been to every nook and cranny of E-Town. And then the WEM scenes are obviously not shot in the winter but in spring/summertime.

It's not even remotely good Mall Porn. The only remotely interesting part was seeing myself in it twice, and both times you have to strain your eyes in order to fully make me out. The movie even looks like crap too- shot on the Red Camera without much visual thought. And the WEM backdrop became nothing more than a distraction.

Basically it's just a 94 minute commercial for WEM with big name actors. Don't waste your time, it's just an extremely crappy movie. 0/10
