season 2?

that's true, continuing on would just be milking the series. Just for the sake of argument, they could continue on with Michael and Fassilina (spelling) trying to either destroy the world or kill Van.
And since Wendy is grown up now there could be a sort of love connection with them now that was sort of hinted towards the end of the series.
