I was flicking channels lastnight until I came across this. I had missed the first 15 minutes but was totally hooked until the end! 'Britz' was totally gripping, dealing with very sensitive subjects. I will definately be watching the concluding part tonight. This is the first time I've seen Riz Ahmed in anything but he was really great as the star character. Hope to see him in other things.

yeah i love channel 4 for showing great dramas and documentaries like bradford riots, yasmin, road to guantanamo bay and now britz.
shareIt was very good indeed and probably the best British drama I've seen in years. This is what C4 does best and should be doing more - making quality, current and hard-hitting drama instead of wasting oney on poxy shows like BB!
The characters were very real, the story was finely paced, sensitively approached, but with enough tension to make it engrossing. I never felt the 2 hours pass, which gives you an idea how good it was.
I must disagree. Britz struck me as a terribly important and necessary subject turned in to an episode of Spooks. Politics for the BB Generation; stereotyoical chracters and a predictable plot, do not make good hard-hitting drama.
