At first I was shocked, but after a few seconds of thinking back it dawned on me that it was PROBABLY just a joke... Or just very, very bad luck ;)

i just watched it on 4od. there's no anouncer there to say derren is joking! lol
shareThat bit really chilled me, especially with the music. It was sort of reminiscent of the exceptionally chilling Trick used at the end of Series 1 (the out-of-body death experience) and I was relieved when the announcer said, "Don't worry, Derren's only joking."
It was only a short time afterwards that I realised she was the superstitious one, and that was why Derren used the joke.
"Metal Gear! It can't be..."
Me neither, but the picture and audio was breaking up in the 2nd half when watching it on 4od - anyone else know if this is the original ending?
shareI just watched it for the 3rd time and finally heard the 'derren's only joking' line, but it was the wrong way round in terms of the on screen message thing thus it made no sense ... I put 4od on tonight for a laugh and watched all these 'cause I was bored - now I'm slightly freaked!
