shareSyringes in the 60s were very different to the plastic one-use disposable ones used now... they were stainless steel and glass and were not disposed of after use.....the needle was surgical steel... and these were also routinely re-used after sterilization
Sterilization was by long boiling and or sterilixed in autoclaves which do the same thing
