Strange choice of channels for ads

I don't know about any other channels, but lately i've seen previews for this around early afternoon time on Nick. When young kids might still be watching Spongebob, Fairly Oddparents or the sort. Which in my opinion is a kind of bad time to promote it.

While some of those shows do have a good amount of teen or older viewers as well it just seems horrible to have something potentially scary (From the TV Spots i feel that it would have frightened me when i was younger) on a channel during relatively child-focused programming.

If anything promote it during Nick@Nite or at least the Teen Nick time. But yeah there's my unwanted, unasked for, and unnoticed 2 cents...

They also are promoting this on MTV. I think I saw the commercial for this two or three times.

Scary? C'mon, remember Goosebumps? Are You Afraid of the Dark? Tales from the Crypt? Campfire ghost stories even? When we were kids we used to watch scary shows and movies and listen to scary stories all the time! That doesn't mean the kids of today can't take it.
