is this even worth downloading and watching for free?
i've heard this film is bad, but is it so bad that its worth downloading and watching for free?

If you're looking for an all-time classic horror movie that will scare you, this isn't the movie for you. If, however, you're looking for a good "scary" family movie, I highly recommend it. I watched it with my three kids and had a blast.
The acting could definitley be better, but this adds to charm of the movie. And, though the acting could have been improved, I thought the writing and directing were good. The movie flowed nicely and made good use of mood music. My 8 and 6 year olds jumped a few times and I found myself wincing in anticpation in some of the scenese.
So, my advice is this: Wait until it gets dark, make some popcorn, and watch this movie with your family. You'll make some great memories.
