Right up there with Silence of the Lambs
Excellent acting, excellent plot, excellent direction. This is one of the best films I've seen in a while.

Considering it... er, "borrowed" most of it's style/scenes from Silence of the Lambs (and actually went as far as to show the female detective with a copy of the book), I'd say the comparison is innevitable.
This was a 'good' movie but Silence of the Lambs was GREAT!
I'd say the same thing. I wouldn't say it's a rip off of SOTL, but it's definitely very similar.

Very nice movie, in my opinion.
From my viewpoint in several occasions the plot remembers me of brothers Coen stories and the leading theme reminds us with Silence of the lambs.
Anyway, I enjoyed very much this movie!
While there are certainly similarities with "Silence of the Lambs" and perhaps, in a very broad way, "Fargo", I felt that the compelling direction, the excellent cinematography, and the very fine acting work by Melanie Laurent lifted this film considerably. In my opinion it is a riveting work, and one of the better thrillers I've seen in quite some time!
shareI wouldnt go that far either, but yeah obviously it reminded me of that movie...Melanie Laurent was wonderful and I actually liked the side story with the two men too.
