I know I am going to take a lot of heat from many people for trespassing the zone of basement dwellers. So here it comes.

I am not going to watch an anime about pedophilia + incest. The first episode was awkward enough to make me delete the whole series. The introduction, the pace and the animation quality was fine but the subject is the sole reason why I refuse to watch it. I am partly guilty. I should have read the IMDB description carefully. Shame on me.

Even though I tolerate sick stuff in movies like all kind of gore, hentai and other disturbing *beep* there are things I do never tolerate, pedophilia being one of them.

I have to agree that this is rather sick, disguised as a sensitive romance. However, the age of consent in Japan is 13, and the girl in the series is 15, so this is not "pedophilia" to the Japanese.

Actually, pedophilia is defined as an attraction to prepubescent children. In the first, I think, four episodes the girl has not yet had her first period so she is considered prepubescent. So technically it is pedophilia, not that the main character knows about her being pre or post pubescent. Jeez. Feels wierd typing that.

Not judging you guys for not wanting to watch it. I'm on ep. 6, so halfway through. It's an interesting break from the giant robot genre, that's for sure.

It's a show about incest, but definitely not pedophilia. Japanese women/girls tend to look younger than they should be.
