Plot holes!!!

Ok, so i noticed 3 major plotholes.
1. of he stopped time and got our of car, why did he ended up in accident anyway and in "Critical condition"?
2. If you want to watch and old cassette you got to fix the broken camera first instead of buying a new camera of a freaking cassette player?
3. People, just out of accidents like that, aren't usually allowed to drive around again, and they sure as hell don't talk phone while doing so, knowing that thats what exactly killed his wife (assuming the guy who had phone was the guy who made accident).

But i liked they used old cars tho, i saw a rust on quite a few, gives more realism that all the straight-out-of-salon cars we see in movies usually.

1. this point kind of gives credit to my theory that the entire movie is the guy's dreams during his coma before he dies of a head injury.
2. bwah? I challenge you to go to any department store or even electronics store and find a cassette playing video camera. You'd have trouble buying a functioning one used now-a-days.
3. another bit of credit to my theory. His wife and son's death seem to just disappear for him. He seemingly has little to no consequences to deal with (no funeral, no family coming to see him, etc) and he's able to do things he always normally did.

i dont know in what "futuristic country" you live in, but we got those in store, and cheap.

Really? huh, no we haven't had VHS cameras for at least a decade, and SVHS has been gone for a while too. We did have digital tape cameras up to a few years ago, but now it's all either hard drive, memory card, or some older ones burn to DVD or mini-DVD. No tape cameras to be found. You can go to specialty camera stores and probably find some used or old models, but I was talking about new electronics and department stores.

i just assumed he was fixing it because it was something to do and he didn't really want to spend time in the house with all his wife and son's things.

The only thing that really struck me as odd, was that the girl knew to pause the camera in the hotel room. Why would somebody instinctively do that?

Because she saw him do that....when she was paused she could still see...
