The Nature Boy

The Nature Boy showed the importance of what an Icon should be all about and Ric Flair showed just that by letting go what was most precious to him. Out of all the greatest wrestlers the world had the opportunity to see, after all the BS, ego rubbish from many other Icons, Ric Flair is the only man to have ended his career the way it should be, the honorable way. His Career is fashionably complete.

No he is not in the league of HBK. I was refering to the ones from that era whom left the buisness without a proper departure like Randy "Macho Man" Savage, Hulk Hogan, The Ultimate Warrior, Roddy Piper etc. Wrestlers that left for finacial issues, unwilling to retire, Reconcilable Differences etc. I'm sure that Flair did not want to leave the buisness and I'm sure that he would have wanted to be world champion again, but in the end he did what was right and retired on a good note. Only Flair was man enough to have HBK beat him and end his career cause I'm sure you can agree that the Match between Hulk Hogan and HBK was a match that HBK should have won.
