$140 Taxi Ride

I thought Jane was an absolute a-hole in this scene. She initially offers the Taxi Driver $300 for the night but goes down by $20 every time he "peeks" at her. By the end, she gives her $140.

First of all, $140 would barely cover a round-trip from JFK airport to downtown Manhattan (which is usually a flat rate).

Secondly, she retained him for at least a few hours. NYC has VERY expensive taxi rates. Yet she only gives $140 - he would have made much more with the meter running. Jane is incredibly manipulative, but that is never really rectified in the movie.
