There are only 70 votes in and it's 7.9, relax. Wait until it's open in ore than 2 cities. Also, this movie should get a 10.0, if only to send it to the top of imdb's lists so that everyone is made aware of what may be the defining issue for our entire generation, we can't afford to stand idly by. I'd say, everyone should give this a 10, then send a link to your friends, have the give a 10. then visit http://www.participate.net/darfurnow and get your voice heard.

Not a great film - the FRONTLINE special on pbs is much better, but I give it a 8 for the effort it's making to bring attention to the situation.

did anyone else feel that it focused too much on the plight of the activists?
I wish it stayed more on the people of Darfur and the political situation there rather than what people were doing to get outside forces (the UN, Arnold) on their side.

decent film but I was honestly dissapointed

it should prbably get a 7 or so - for the huge budget it had they should have done a better job exploring the issue - but this IS the new Hollywood doc - they come in with a set agenda and if the situation ends up happening differently they try ansd pound a square peg in a round hole -

in this case (as it was explained by the filmmakers) they wanted to have a "crash" style doc with 6 different stories, they also assemed that certain events would come to pass that didn't - the other complaint I have is that the film sides with the rebels even though they started the whole conflict in the first place - that part is mentioned very quickly in an opneing montage and if you blink you miss it - they do however give a lot of voice to the rebels stating very forcefully that they won't quit fighting until they have an independent darfur - and they have not signed the peace agreement to this day -

FYI - this not however the "defining issue" of this generation as one poster said on this thread - it is a trendy issue thats sell easily - you are about to find out about some real "issues" in the very near future -

Because you've been harrassing us and because of your love of the New Kids On The Block movie.
