Good times

I love horror movies, especially slashers, and I don't usually appreciate the blend of horror and comedy, but I wanted something tongue-in-cheek this time, and "Killer movie" really delivered. It's not ground-breaking in any way, it's not extremely suspenseful and you can tell it was done on a low budget, but it's good entertainment and it makes great use of all its resources. The characters are -almost all of them- very likable, and even Lee is one character you love to hate. You can tell that the cast members were enjoying their work. I also loved the cut-in interviews. The mingling of the Hollywood people with the White Plains locals provided another humorous subplot. The movie -probably due to its financial limitations- was quite loaded with cliches, but even those were well-done.

I also enjoyed the soundtrack, especially the opening song.

All in all, a fun-to-watch movie, with no further pretensions.
