What's up with the rapid-fire switch from language to language?

That's all that I'm really curious about with this movie. I've read about a dozen commentaries and reviews on it by now, and not a single one of them even mention the language aspect. What's up with that? Why did they switch from language to language to language mid-sentence over and over and over?

I noticed that too. There was enough english dialogue to understand what was going on without the english subtitles :P

I have a friend from India and he said that is the way they speak. They use both languages and sometimes use English to make emphasis. Kind of like bold font :P
