Has anyone heard if it will be released on 1/1/2008 and how it will be shown (big screen or tv)?

Release date - 21 dec 2007, cinemas. On TV in 2010.

This sequel is a crime against humanity.

To make a sequel to one of the most beloved Russian movies of all time with a complete disregard for original ending is just pure evil. I for one will not consider to this movie to be canon especially without the original director and screenwriter.

yeah, it does look horrible. the only funny moment in the whole trailer is the cameo by Ryazanov himself.

I LOVED IT! Get over the fact that theres a sequal. In most cases I would agree, but this one was incredible!
