favourite part of the movie

My favourite part(s) of the movie are in the middle of the song "Show Me Your Jalwa" when they're casting for the role of Tabrez and a dude comes along and says "Meri mummy keh rahi hai ke tu aaj kal Laila ke saath phir ra hai"...also, when there's that dialogue between Tabrez and Majnu...

Overall the movie rocked! It was fun, happy and easy-going, which can't be said about movies like Om Shanti Om or Saawariya (both tried to put in too much drama and in the latter case the drama was too musical)!

my fav part was the laila majnu play. it was amazingly done.

My favorite parts were when they were holding the auditions for "Layla" and the way Konkona Sen Sharma auditioned for Layla part (3 times!!! i loved esp her last audition when she was holding a sword and declaring her love... haha)...

reply

lol, that's also my favorite part 'dil' and it's funny how no one noticed that she auditioned 3 times already. I also like the Laila Majnu sequence, even though it strongly derails from the rest of the film.

I liked the Laila and Majnu scene, the auditions, the Aaja Nachle song and dance, and the "Jalebi" scene where the characters are getting drunk and the officer keeps calling his friend a Jalebi, Lol.
