To anyone who saw the film, when Tea Leoni serves magic mushrooms in a soup and on their steaks, and the henchmen/Milagro salesmen are starting to feel the mushroom effects, was it any funny??? The diner scene?? Did they even show that scene?? Or how about the mushroom after effects when the Milagro salesmen are shrooming out in a sunflower field, did they show that?? If so was it funny??
shareI was somewhat distracted during this particular scene so I missed that they were magic mushrooms. I saw that they were all in the diner acting as staff to the Milagro henchmen and assumed that the intention was to service Milagro their own product and get crazy side effects like Ed Helms character. Then I saw her push the shrooms and thought maybe they were grown in Milagro? Only to tune back in time to see everyone get sick and hallucinate.
I did not find it funny. But then I never find these gags funny in anything. I abhor when vomit is shown in comedies as it is never realistic and then just seems like a cheap gag to me. Hallucinations never interest me either- I prefer watching the actions of someone who is hallucinating to seeing the hallucinations themselves.
So to answer your question I did not find it funny but I'm not a male or a under the age of 15 so probably not the target audience. It did seem a little different from the humor normally found in Polish Bros films.
