Machete first scene (raid): law enforcement MEXICAN style!!!


Was that the coolest police raid ever or what?!!!

While obviously played for laughs, rest assured that:
- Mexico's federal police (AFI, PF, etc) are in fact the Sinaloa drug cartel's military wing (to help them fight off Los Zetas and acquire monopoly, which is unofficial policy, sanctioned all the way to the DEA)
- They are not above beheading, torture, mutilation, you name it.

So what you see, brutality wise, is not far from the actual truth. Only thing is, the badasses are just as bad, and half the time the victims are in fact civilians (to control trafficking routes the civilian population is terrorized into submission).

It was an OK scene, just like the rest of the movie.

And yeah, Mexican police is is pretty much Cartel Police, corrupt as *beep*
