Anyone know the song?

It's the third to the last song played in the movie, it's a guy singing and I swear it's a cover? The soundtrack only lists a song called "gravity" but the name doesn't ring any bells. Does anyone know who sang that song originally?

I thought it was a Coldplay song and watched the credits to see. It did say written by Chris Martin but he wasn't necessarily performing it. I'd like to know what the song is too.

Oh so it could have been a Coldplay cover?

Wikipedia to the rescue! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravity_(Embrace_song)

It looks like Chris Martin wrote the song, gave it to the band Embrace, then later recorded it himself. So it's possible I heard Chris Martin's version and recognized it... although I'm not sure how. It has a distinctly Coldplay-ish vibe.

Thanks! That must be why it's so recognizable.
