Someday, the idea of this having a live action movie would come...

What can you say about it? Who do you think would fit the cast?

(edit) Personally, I think anime should remain as anime.

I can just imagine the CGI yoma already. Just don't ever let them become a reality =|.

Angela Gossow of Arch Enemy would make a 100% perfect Teresa.

You could be on to something there.

Galadriel from LoTR would make a great Teresa:

Not sure this show would make a good full length motion picture. For one...it's Anime w/ characters that have out of this world capabilities (leaping, jumping, faster than the eye can see sword strokes). 2nd the plot line is best told in bit by bit segments. Additionally, the Yoma are going to be difficult to make realistic as CGI.....they may look decent, but the sinister tone they bring as Anime Characters (same for ascendant beings) will be a little lost if it's this real grotesque looking monster.

plus I don't know if it's popular enough for a full on motion picture. I stumbled on it when i was browsing netflix & read the description, so I decided to see what an episode looked like one day when i was bored..... I've liked the series so far (on episode 13 so far.) & I think I'd rather keep it the way it is now.

I think it could be done reasonably well. It would definitely have to be 6 movies (3 per season, assuming a second anime season is made).

As far as CGI, I think the work done in Harry Potter, LOTR or X-men (not the wolverine movie) is really good, and would do the anime justice.

We'd need a good director. No M night shayamalan or michael bay.

I'd be afraid to cast Clare though, it'd be so easy to screw up that role.

If they cast Shia lebdeuche as raki I will kill everyone at the studio. If they cast Angelina Jolie in it, I'll burn the, place down

Toreador just put a nail in the coffin. 6 movies? that's realistic. i can only think of a handful of movies that have ever made it past 3 iterations. Plus i just don't agree on the CGI. you just can't create sinister like they do on the Anime w/ CGI.

To quote Will Smith "OH HELL NO!" Leave it be. Adapting an anime (series) to a live action 2 hour movie can not be done. The only exceptions would be 2 hour anime features remade as a live action film.

Though I would LOVE to see a l/a version of Vampire Hunter D with Johnny Depp as D and Jack Black as his talking hand.
I shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.
