Indentify this episode! (Kids in club see horror movie, shoplift?)

I do believe this was either an Afterschool special or Schoolbreak special. We watched it on VHS in middle school I think (I'm 32 now). I believe it was from the late 70s/early 80s.

Here's what I can remember:

Kids had a club house (with a picture or flyer hanging in it).

Shoplifting scene at department store?

Some of the kids go to see a horror movie (or talk about seeing it) that they see advertised on a flyer somewhere.

ANY HELP would be appreciated! I only have vague memories, but know it left a lasting impression on me as being downbeat, atmospheric and strange.
