Superb actress/uneven film....Spoiler......

I don't understand all the attention given to the endlessly fawned-over Kate Winslet...when I've just seen Michelle Williams give the best performance I've seen in the last several years. A crying shame that she happens to give it in
this wobbly, uncertainly scripted movie.
The 'caravan' scene highlights the best and worst of "Incendiary"...it
features a ridiculous, really odious plot twist regarding the British police and yet feature's William's most heartwrenching scene.
One day, I'm hoping she gets a lead role in a top-of-the-line film with
a director who knows how to direct and a solid script.

i couldnt agree with you more. michelle was phenomenal. story was a let down but her acting... wow.

I agree about Michelle Williams; she was excellent in the film. I thought she was pretty good in Land Of Plenty too, and having just looked it up I was surprised to find that it predates Brokeback Mountain.

It's high time for her to be given a role where she can really go for it.

Kate Winslet is vastly overrated; never seen why so many people make so much fuss over a Welsh slapper.

I agree Michelle Williams was stunning in this role though the film was uneven.

Bring me the head of Alfredo Garcia!

I really had no idea she was this talented. I saw a glimpse of that talent in Brokeback Mountain actually but in this movie, she carried the whole film on her shoulders and she was superb! I am really impressed.

I kind of agree, yes. It was not worthy of her. Or Ewan, for that matter.
