We don't know the ending because that is what life it like. It's a good film BECAUSE of that.

share I disagree, The boss guy being the father..... seems this is not the path the writers are looking for. I feel the child is her husbands because they are of the same ilk. She gets them both back with the child, that is why the movie does not show she ends up with the boss. It is a better fit that there family stays in tact.

even though at the end they show the loverboy in the hospital waiting and they didnt show any intimacy between her and her husband... but just going by the fact that loverboy and her didnt complete the act of sex .. im assuming sperms werent his..
to me it felt, when loverboy said the unsubtle line "simple things like fish fingers".. since then it is showed he has changed from being a casaova and has been checking on her out of feelings for her and for the same reason was there at the hospital.
