Did the Burger Kitchen episode really need two parts

Watched it on Hulu

I sometimes wonder if they told the guy to keep crying so they could get the episode into two parts.

I thought it did. There was so much drama in that episode it felt overwhelming in two parts, let alone one.

reply

not really. the worst part was when the annoying hipsters got up on the mic to tell them how bad their food was. like ok we get it their food is awful, not get back to the kitchen drama.

i've got feelings too, ya know - inbetweeners

I think the point was getting those bloggers up was to show the family they were real people. I was appalled how Allan posted back (a la Amy from ABC) and attacked them for saying like it is. It's a conspiracy. Heck, he is his father 😎 Gen was a terrible person, no management skills what so ever. They were really, Jack of all trades, master of none. I felt sorry for Daniel and his girlfriend. I hope they found a better path and well away from his Mum and Dad.

I watched the episode the other day. His mom was the worst. Alan reminded me of Alfred Molina. Looked like him and talked like him lol

Don't insult Alfred Molina!! Alan Saffron is a piece of *beep*

I love the part when he tells Gordon about taking his sons money and telling him after the fact and then the next thing he says is, "My son has a great deal of resentment towards me and I don't know why."

I also really felt bad for David Blaine lol. He was obviously chained to horrible equipment and deluded owners that made him use that nasty waygu mix. The owners, especially Gen, wanted him gone even if he was doing everything right. Atleast Alan pretended to take criticism. Gen got up and left because David was complimented on his burger. The whole time he was being chewed out the camera kept panning to a devious smile on her face.

It must suck to not be good at anything and think you
"Some people have called me a meat sculptuer and
many celebrities have eaten my burgers and loved them. Yes." The name drop without the names lol. "I CARE ABOUT MUSHROOMS!! IM FROM POLAND!!"
Those people were nuts. That would be okay. It's the fact that they thought they were the hottest *beep* to ever grace anyone's presence. They are right up there with Amy and Samy. I don't think Amy would steal from her 3 little boys lol.

Your thoughts are very similar to mine, hawker. Each time I re-watch Burger Kitchen I get angry all over again at the way Alan *STOLE* his son's money, and that's what it was, stealing. I've said before that if that happened to me, I'd be livid, and I mean that. I don't know how they can ever work through the resentment that must be there--especially in light of the fact that the restaurant ultimately failed, so that money is GONE gone.
