My biggest complaint

I actually ended up liking this movie more than I thought I would but does anyone know why they decided to try to make Tintin look so lifelike in the face but then go with totally cartoon looking faces (especially their noses) for Thompson, Thomson, and Haddock?

The animation otherwise was beautiful in bluray but it was very distracting having one character animated to look lifelike and then other characters animated to look like cartoon characters. I wish Tintin would have had a more cartoon looking face.

I didn't like Tintin's life like face because of it.
It just didn't look right to me.

I was shocked at the beginning of the movie when a street artist drew the comic version of him which is the tintin I remembered and then later you get your first glimpse of his life-like face.

I would have preferred a cartoony face for him.

that put me off slightly also...

Because Tintin is the only life-like character and the other ones are just cartoonish comic relief so they couldn't have had them look humans and act like cartoons.

I didn't like Tintins teeth in this. I've noticed before in this type of animation in their effort to give characters perfect teeth they actually make them look edged with rottenness somehow.
