This was friggen' terrible!!!
How did they go wrong? It's a great premise.....I'm all for an "ArtHouse" type of movie but this is ridiculous.
Such a Waste..They should of let someone from the cast write the script..any of them could have come up with something more entertaining.
For a Final Draft this really needed some revisions.

dude, the antagonist wrote the screenplay...that David guy.
And btw I agree that this movie could've been a lot better. Premise was great IMO, though not original. I think I could rewrite this story a whole lot better using the premise...

I enjoyed it but I do see the flaws. I think it's main problem was that it took too long to get to the point where he began to break down. He didn't really start writing and going crazy until the start of the third act when that part should have really started around the beginning of the second act. The beginning of the movie just felt like filler to me. Still enjoyed it for the most part, but I'm kind of a sucker for movies about crazy writers. I even liked "The Ape".
shareI finally got around to seeing it like 2 months ago. It's very poorly done in my opinion and there's soo much hype about the clown and the clown is barely even in it. James Van Der Beek can do soooo much better than the movie Final Draft.
