Drinking, clubbing ?

Is New York actually like this? High school kids IN clubs boozing it up at four in the morning? This is one of a slew of 'coming of age' films portraying such; I seriously doubt state beverage control depts overlook such. I understand artistic license, and that kids drink, etc, but this stuff is pure fantasy. In a dorm or @ a home, okay, though still illegal & stupid. BUT in CLUBS? With bouncers? Come on folks, get serious!
