Been picked up by Hollywood?

Heard a roumour the other day that there's some interest from Fox Searchlight in a remake of this movie, apparently they are touting a script around a few big named Hollywood actors (amongst them Matt Damon, supposedly!?).......hmmm

I can see it working if given the big treatemnt, it's a pretty good story (needs some of the dialogue re-written!) and it's kinda different! saying that, even the 'low budget' movie kept me pretty much entertained for an hour 30 (dodgy lead acting aside, thought the side-kick guy was great though!).

I have no 'proof' before anyone asks! it's just something I overheard, maybe s**t maybe not, but remember where you read it first.
