Did anyone like this movie?

I keep hearing, "It's not that bad." Can anyone say they genuinely enjoyed it? There are plenty of movies that I know are bad by definition (bad production, bad dialogue, bad acting, etc.), but which I enjoyed regardless. And I don't mean in a so bad, it's good kind of way; was it entertaining enough to forgive it all its flaws?

I must say I really enjoyed it. There are of course obvious mistakes, like the clock in the dry cleaning and cars parked in one shot and missing in another. Script is rough on edges, the end could be more explaining, but the actors, camera and especially the exteriors are good. Overall it's got great potencial and definitely is entertaining and worth the time.

I enjoyed this movie greatly. I found it entertaining, and was laughing my ass off because of the dialog between the characters. I Loved the shootings in the movie, so random.

I loved this film.
As others have said, it's a bit rough around the edges, there's some dodgy acting and dialogue, but so what?
It kept me entertained.
Hell, cock-smuggler, i even laughed out-loud a couple of times.

Anyone that says they like this film are either retarded or worked on this film themselves.

I will buy this movie if I can find it. The dialogue and synergy between the cast made this a fun movie. The soundtrack was awesome. Sure the production was rough but you gotta start somewhere. At least it doesnt have the forced edginess of the latest Tarentino crap where they are trying to create the look of an indy film.

I loved this film. It's one of my all-time favourites, and the best film I've seen in over two years. Everyone I've seen it with loved it too. I can't understand how anyone couldn't at least find it hilarious. The music is wonderful too! Possibly it's a language barrier problem . I'm from the UK, and we love this film.

We rented this on a whim last night. I thought it was a great movie. The acting was a little forced at times, but overall the charm and humor of this flick was great. We all enjoyed it. Then I came to IMDb to rate the flick like I do all my movies and I was shocked to find the rating so low! In fairness, only 377 people had voted, but I think this is a hugely underrated little flick.

I just got this movie from Netflix and I have to say I was really surprised how much I enjoyed this film. Everything fits together at the end and the characters where a joy to watch. I think I am going to buy this one for my collection.

I watch a LOT of movies, some of them in the 'B' class but still enjoyable and that's exactly what I expected of this. However, I genuinely enjoyed this much much more than I thought and plan to watch it again in the next couple of days with friends. I don't do that with many other 'B' grade movies.

Yes, you could probably pick this to pieces in so many ways but seriously, why? It's an enjoyable dark comedy from guys who are trying something a little different and I gotta say, I'm all for seeing new things as a cinefile.

I've recently seen a A-lister movies with 100 million dollar budgets that I enjoyed less!!! That should sum it up for you! It won't be every persons cup of tea though!

Well said, almost my exact sentiments. With all the stuff blowing up and things flying at you a mile a minute, it was nice to see a low budget action film actually work.

Not sure why it's only rated 3.7, what does everyone have against this film? The dialogue was hilarious, the shootings unexpected, the fights were well done for a no budget movie, and the ending makes the whole movie worth watching. Don't let the low rating fool you, it's worth seeing at least once if you're a fan of the genre...

Thanks 'ThunderGore' if that was aimed at my comment!

I don't know why the ratings show what they do sometimes. It annoys me when I see 'Worst Movie Ever' or 'Worst Movie of All-Time' but no reasoning behind it. I don't like quite a number of movies but none I'd give one-star as I look deeper into them. If they entertain me, even badly, I get that someone, somewhere, had a vision that in all likelihood looked good on paper and for one of a million reasons, didn't work out.

If there is ONE things I've learned, it's NOT to judge ANY movie by the ratings given on IMDb. That said I sometimes use them as a base if I have a number of movies to watch in a row but a rating will NEVER sway me to not watch a movie anymore than it'll sway me to like one I think was all hype!

I watched 'A Film with Me in It' again last night with my hubby and WOW, what a movie! I don't often love movies I've watched over and over but with this one, I can't help but crack up every time I watch it and will continue to.

1) "Jain from Dublin" said ... "...tedious to watch" & "A Film With Me In It is rubbish."

and

2) "dbborroughs from Glen Cove, New YorkSo" said ... "bad and unfunny I stopped caring ..." "This film stars Dylan Moran and someone who's name and face I will try to block from memory"

So there ya go! What do we learn from this? We all have different tastes and one man/woman's junk is another man/woman's treasure. Keep watching, keep giving constructive comments to help others understand what you saw that they may not have and vice-versa!

Enjoy!
