i am P-1-S-S-E-D that they think need to shake the camera like that!

argggggggghhhhhhh !!!!

but i am gonna try and stay with it. cause i really want to see this.

but for the record i hat sloppy filmmaking, and 'chic' jerkwater wannabes who think they add reallism and 'docu' feel to their projects just by (INTENTIONALLY, i might add) moving the camera all over the place for no reason, even in still shots.

UPDATE--

i am 37 minutes in and it seems to only shake in the scenes at barry peppers house. i guess this is intended to say that the low class fam has 'volatility in the air' or something... lol i guess the "auteur" is very full of himself and patting himself on the back for adding such "great nuances" into the story via "gritty-guerilla cinematography" lol

whatever. the story is pretty good though, so i will keep watching. good premise, good 'pickle'

UPDATE---

1:10 ...okay, WHY exactly are they running? WTF! and the shower was over the top. seems to me cole hauser 'has him where he wants him' now, yet he hauls @ss. ii dont get that.

and the wife opens the door all bruised. too neat of a plot move, to just have barry pepper simply jump right back into his old pattern. nah i'm aint buying it

It seemed like Rip jumped back in the bottle after Jack offered him money. He was sitting in his truck right afterwards with a brown bag between his legs. That seemed to be the straw that broke the camels back.

well i think it fell off toward the end. it was okay, not great.

the kevin downes dvd extra was good... the kids were cute. but i coldn't help feel like the white americans were seeing the kids kinda as pets or something, for their own interests and not really for the kids.
