Eustace - the most annoying character ever

He is very annoying, but that's the whole point. He's supposed to be annoying. He's really the only character with any sort of journey, even if it's poorly handled (particularly compared to Edmund's similar journey in the first film).

But at least Poulter gives an all-out effort and seems engaged the entire time. Everyone else seems bored and over it.

Can't be too hard on the guy since I saw him first in Maze Runner.

I've only read the first part of the book, but he was even MORE annoying in the book.

He was grating indeed, but he was supposed to be so. That was his purpose in the film, yet he does goes through an significant and compelling arc which redeems him at the end.
