great group of guys

Hello. I just wanted to write that I, too, felt the film was touching for all the obvious reasons. But what I found particularly unique about this documentary was just how likable the group of guys (including Darius, of course) was. I can't remember the last time I saw a movie in which a large group of young men has come across this articulate, respectful, sweet, empathetic, smart, motivated, etc. Bravo, bravo! I'm excited about what the future has in store for each of them, and I hope they maintain their friendships throughout the years. I also hope Darius gets a miracle or at least gets to do a lot more fun stuff with the time he has left. I'm going to make a donation on their website now, and I urge you to do the same.

Sorry it's taken so long to reply to this post, but we wanted to let everyone know that Darius is doing great. In the last year, he has lost almost 100 pounds (a diagnosis of congestive heart failure motivated him to change his diet), he is in a clinical trial for older boys with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, and he just signed a record deal to put out his first rap CD. He can still use his hands and loves playing video games. He also has a girlfriend!
