Curtis produces very interesting documentaries ...

but I am not sure I'm buying into it.

I think I get something out of his ideas, but it is more for consideration
mixed with what I already know ... or think I know myself.

The thing that I like about these documentaries is the way we humans
come off as so primitive. We find a new technology or idea and it is
the rage and we go off the deep end with it applying it to all the tricks
of society until the next new idea comes along. That does ring true
through history.

Some ideas confirm that we are not that smart and that we put a lot of
effort into taking ourselves and our beliefs very seriously ... because
the more serious we are the more power and money can be generated.

So ... maybe we should wait a while until we understand something real,
and laugh and be a bit poorer in the mean time and not beat each other
up quite so much.
