Style over substance. Typicall Zack Snyder. Is that always a bad thing? I think not

"Style over substance."

No, sir.

That is wrong.

Very deep content in this one.

Pseudo deep at best.

You do know the phrase "very unique" is redundant? But I agree--style over substance isn't a bad thing. I just think BOTH the style and the substance of this movie is overrated. I don't consider video game CGI to be "style"; it's just Hollywood wasting money to impress immature fan-boys.

As for the "substance", well, if you're 14 maybe you would consider this deep and substantial because it is more CLEVER than your usual comic book movie, but that isn't necessarily saying much. Emily Browning's "Sleeping Beauty", Abbie Cornish's "Somersault" and even Vanessa Hudgen's "Spring Breakers" all have more substance than this.

It’s not redundant. It’s illiterate. You can neither quantify nor qualify “unique.” The word means “one of a kind.” Nothing can be more “one of a kind” than another thing.

Language: not meant to be used by the lazy.

A movie that has sequences that look exactly like video game cut scenes that have been done to hell and back for the past 20 years is very unique? All righty then.
