Status?

How is the doco going? Has it been completed/edited?
An update would be great!
Would also like to know if it is going straight to DVD or what ever!
shareWe're still shooting. All the major interviews are in the can. We've already started editing but still have some stuff to shoot toward the end of the doc. I can see this thing being longer than the running time listed on here. What we have so far is gold and some of the stories told are fantastic.
In addition, I have a new make-up artist working with us on this for my transformation. Very exciting to have him on board - he's worked on a lot of big movies including Gladiator and 28 Days Later. I will update one and all when I have more news.
As for ther release. A rough cut goes to Universal in the New Year, with luck AWIL will get a new special edition DVD with Beware The Moon on it. As for when? I would harbour a guess around the theatrical release of The Wolf Man.
Of course, i'll know for sure once Universal have seen it.

Paul in your myspace blog you said you filmed in Great Windsor Park which was where David and Jack made their fateful stroll on the moors but I thought the Moors scene was filmed in Wales?thanks so much to you all for what you are doing as WIL fans like me can hardly wait!
shareThe day exteriors and the exterior of the pub is Wales. The night exterior moors is Windsor Great Park. We've got about 15mins focused on the first attack in the doc :)

shareUnfortunately no. There's nothing left in terms of deleted scenes. I knew i was in the exact spot because it was the clearest area on Windsor Great Park near a foot track. Nothing is by accident in filmmaking :)

u know what i would love to see on a new AWIL dvd release would be the teaser and the theatrical trailers and all tv trailers too, that would totally make my day. and i cannot wait to see Beware the Moon. its funny how thats the title of my own little fanfic i plan to do based on AWIL, like a sequel continuing storyline thing for my own fun.
shareDid you manage to track down a good print of that teaser trailer for the movie with the blood running through the stream, the one on video detective, that is if you plan to put it in the docu.

Yes and yes. We shot all of the AWIL props at Bob's place.
shareso this documentary will only appear on a future edition on AWIL dvd?? Seems a shame, I (as I imagine many others have) have already bought the 21st anniversary edition & the HD DVD edition. Is there any possibility of a separate release? Thanks
