Deserves a remake.

The trailer for The Vanguard was promising. Those who have seen the film probably noticed that it was awful.

But the ideas were so cool. The 'masterless samurai,' the Mohawks, the forest (which I got so sick of), the modern weaponry mixed with the primitive combat. It was like The Last of the Mohicans vs. 28 Days Later, except that it sucked. I think that if the premise were given to a competent film crew with a realistic budget, it has the potential to be the greatest zombie movie ever made. won't happen of course, just imagining.
