Nearly every thread on every movie has "what if Christian Bale was in it?" Honestly, there are OTHER actors in Hollywood. Besides, this movie couldn't have afforded him in the first place.

Of course there are other actors...I just wish Hollywood knew that...it seems that Cuba is in every direct to dvd action movie...but that isn't necessarily a bad thing

How would it be if Colin Farrell played Liam Case,or maybe Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt,maybe Ewan McGregor or Jason Statham would have fit in...I know,DMX would have been the perfect choice for this role. :)).

Come on people,stop doing this!!!Cuba got the part and in my opinion he did a great job.
As for me...(cause I don`t want to be of-topic) I think that Will Smith would have done a good job.

You should try watching Empire of the Sun, American Psycho, The Machinist, Harsh Times, Batman Begins, The Prestige, and 3:10 to Yuma before passing judgment that Christian Bale is a B-list actor.

He doesn't hate Christian Bale, he hates the embodiment of what he and his name have become.

He's a good actor, but to say a film would be better with him in it is not only crass but patently ignorant.

Have you ever seen Equilibrium ?
This was a movie with Christian Bale in it and sucked big time.

Not that Christian Bale is a bad actor ....but remember ....it's not only the cast that can screw up a movie.

Just as good, if not better, an actor then Christian Bale. Both have made poor career moves. For all we know Christian Bale could be the one in straight-to-DVD "hell"

Even though it really isnt that bad. Many holloywood stars have done it and will continue to do so. I don't know why Cuba has had so many "Seagal-Lundren" type flicks but at least he brings some class. even if he is under-directed. or under-acts.
