RATINGS BS....

I understand this was not the finest movie ever made. However, I don't understand the idea behind going in a giving a "decent" movie a 1?

I had been following Broken Windows for some time due to my appreciation of a few of the actors in it. Time had passed and I had forgotten much about it when I saw that it was listed on Netflix. I requested it and I watched it on the day the movie was realesed (2-24-09). I came back today to see if anyone else had commented on it, and I see the movie has a 3.1 rating???

Now I can understand not thinking this movie was anything special, but to have seen the movie in its first few days of release and describe it as a 1???
Maybe someone can explain this to me?

My question to you would be: What made you see this film? Obviously it was going to be low budget. If you feel this strongly about it being garbage, why did you check it out within days of its release?

I think you answered his question brilliantly, and for that reason I won't watch this film and thus it will be rate free from me, oh I'm a poet.

Since movies like Titanic, Independence day, etc, in the late 90s all people want is explosions and no story or plot to waste times in between explosions. So if they see some low budget indie on the site, without even watching they just click the 1. That's why this has a 3/10. IMDB should make it so you are somehow forced to see the movie before rating.
