Any real 'chavs' who watch this?

If so, what do they think when they see 'the Benefits'? Do they see the irony and humour in the sketch, or do they just see a regular family just trying to buy a lottery ticket?

Maybe they feel sorry for poor Dean. All he ever wanted was a blasted lottery ticket, and maybe some fags, but he was only ever met with aggression and people who could be paedophiles. Granddad was for poor sod always left with the dog who won't 'shut it', and as a result could never get a word in edgeways, and betrayed and lied to by his own iphone that the capital of Australia is kangaroo. And who didn't feel sorry for poor little Tyrone? He was just a confused young boy with 'mental needs' who just wanted a packet of crisps, and maybe a trip to Disneyworld.

So next time you see a group of people with similar mannerisms, either a 'family' of indeterminate relation screaming and shouting at each other in public, or a group of youths just returning from the benefits office, having a cigarette on the back seat of the bus, or enjoying a nice few beverages on the park bench after dark, spare a thought for their vulnerable state, and just remember that the world is a much more confusing and aggressive place for them than it is for us.
