I think they've both learned a few things from the "Little Britain School of Repetitive Jokes" where basically the joke is just built around repeating the same catchphrases over and over, OK now classic characters like The Scousers and Tim Nice-But-Dim did have their catchphrases but the sketches weren't built around them and they did come up with something different every time. I think Paul Whitehouse is definitely funnier than Harry Enfield and proved so with The Fast Show and knew when to end it ten years ago when it got stale I just wish they'd at least TRY to get back to their best when they were on top in the early-mid 90s but I can't see it ever happening though as it seems like they've run too low on ideas and done pretty much everything now that it may be time to call it quits.
