Cappie and Evan and Casey butting in

Something that always bothered me about this show was the fact that Casey was never happy with how Evan and Cappie were. When she was, it was when she was sleuthing and sticking her butt in other people's business. She had no right to question THEIR friendship and she had no right to break it up in the first place. I know that Cappie and Evan got into a fight at the All-Greek Ball and that's why they didn't stay friends but she got into that! She went after Evan, knowing full well that he liked her (You could tell the first time they hung out at the KT party).

Casey never knew when to stop with the two of them. I felt bad for the two of them because someone like her had to get in the way and mess with their order. Even when they made it right, she was never happy with it unless she got her way.

I know Casey was the protagonist and we're supposed to root for her in some way or another but I really do find it difficult at times to do that.

Does anyone else feel the same way in that regard?

I totally agree with everything you said. Casey was always very self-centered and only cared about herself and her relationships...and she knew damn well what she was doing by dating Evan after Cappie and never had the right to then try and get involved with their relationship as friends after everything

Oh my goodness, Casey was SO annoying in this regard. She just couldn't mind her own business. The episode where she was snooping around and investigating Cappie and Evan's friendship was so aggravating. She ends up infiltrating the Amphora lair, getting offered a SPOT, and then turning it down, all because she couldn't mind her own business.

She always thought it was her place to intervene and fix everything, even if there was nothing to fix. She just wanted things her way. Another example is when she tried to force Cappie and Max to be friends, even when both of them clearly were not interested. And she was only doing it for her benefit!

I totally agree. It was annoying, BUT it just showed that she cared.
She didn't turn down Amphora for herself, she did it for Evan and Cappie.

And with Cappie and Max... yeah, she was doing it for her benefit but only because she didn't want to sacrifice her relationship with either guy. And if she had to stop being with either one of them because of their disinterest in each other, then all of them would suffer.

"Do you even remember what you came here to find?"
