Wouldn't it be 3 a.m. in New York at 7 a.m. in London?
If the scientist wakes up at 7 a.m. in London and turns on the tv and he sees protesters in New York as if it is the same time there in New York...well, that seems wrong. It would be 3 a.m. so I imagine it would be pitch black and the protesters would be sleeping.
Also on a different note I had to laugh when the U.S. Navy was out searching for the tsunami wave and the captain is standing in the bridge of that air craft carrier and nobody seems to notice the wave is right there in front of them? Really?
