So this is what college is like?

As I respond to your post a few years later: I TOTALLY agree! How come college movies are ALWAYS like this? They never show the true college experience, that is, the students who don't actually get expelled and manage to graduate, because let's face it: with all these shenanigans they're not very likely to make it to graduation. I agree that seeing people jacked on RED-BULL as they sit in the library for 6 hours straight cramming for mid-terms isn't "entertaining," at least it portrays a realistic portrait of college life; though I have to admit, I too am in my junior year and had a lot of crazy hookups. I came to a college a virgin and by the end of freshman year had hooked up with 13 guys. I lost my virginity to my RA at the end of my first week of college...it was good, but it all has gone down hill from there; I now work 2 jobs, tutor, and TA, as well as take a full load of Upper Division credits AND am presenting at the NCUR conference in Ithaca so I have been really busy with that, but still no orgies for me either.

Thats the problem with all these movies about high school and college, they reinforce this myth among young boys that its cool to lose your virginity and have sex with as many girls as you possibly can. That is all phoney baloney! GOD WANTS YOU TO HAVE SEX WITH ONLY ONE GIRL, AND YOU'VE GOT TO BE MARRIED TO HER!!!
