Have you actually seen it, because i know that most of you havnt. Its actually a really good film. 5 and 6 are a seperate story from the others. in my opinion there better than the rest, mabye on a par with 2.

No it's actually a really bad film. In fact, it wouldn't even be right to call it a "film". I'd call it a bad popcorn movie if it didn't go straight to video. But there's a reason it went straight to video. No distributors would buy it because it was so god awful and it wouldn't make any money in the theaters.

Oldskool can you have anything to say about anything other then homosexual remarks about movies like dude you must have *beep* tastes in movies. You cant go in watching movie like it has to be better then the first you have to have a separate mind about that movie in general. So in my opinion that theses movies are well done for being straight to DVD. Now if you want to talk about movies that should go straight to dvd or not even be made is Day of the Dead(2008). And i personally love crappy done zombie flicks. But this is just an embarrassment to movies in general. Sorry Romero.

Agreed. Clearly this isn't going to win Oscars, we who enjoyed it understand that. But for *beep*'s sake, what's so bad about it? If you're not into fratty party movies or whatever, obviously you're not going to like it, but I turned this on, not expecting much, and was pleasantly surprised. The acting's actually pretty natural, which is rare considering it was a relatively unknown cast (save Eugene Levy for 5 minutes), it had pretty realistic dialogue, and did a good job capturing the essence of frat (or even high school) parties. I know plenty of kids who were right on point with the characters, and the writers, believe it or not, knew what they were doing. Glad to see I'm not the only one willing to admit they liked it.

Exactly. Its a horrible movie by most standards, but that doesnt matter. In the genre of direct-to-dvd college party movies, it ranks pretty high.
shareI loved the original American Pie Films, and really liked Naked Mile. I thought Band Camp was ok, but unfortunatley i didn't really like this one. Sorry. I really do like the spin offs. I think it's great to see the Stifler Family for what it is. Bring on the next film! haha.

I agree with the last poster, I love the pie films and teen comedies but this was baaaaaad and i was kinda looking forward to seeing it, i have nothing against the last two spin offs but this was absolutely awful.

shareFor NO.6 in a series it's quite good. It was no blockbuster but it was good to watch. Infact, it's pretty obvious it wasn't made to win awards and was proberbly never intended to go into the cinema but just for people to watch and enjoy. So I think it surved it's purpose.

shareI was not too impressed with the first American pie movies, this put me off wanting to see naked mile and beta house.
I decided to give beta house a try and i think its better than the original pie movies, i then watched naked mile and band camp. Naked mile is good also, but band camp was meh..
Beta house is well worth the watch, if your in the need for a good college comedy.

i just saw it.. it had more tits than dialogue's... it was as funny as watching me eat a burger.. it was related to the other American Pie movies as a Mac is related to Windows...
And I rarely ever dislike a movie, this actually might be the first one - oh! wait there's XXX 2 too..
Here are my toughts...
AP1 is a Classic, it is what Matrix is to the action movies, but to the comedies.
AP2 was for me when i saw it, even more funny than #1, i watched it more times.
AP3...maybe its because i saw it in theather and never had the chance to see a "unrated version" if there one, but i tought that some guy where a little bit over, it was getting a little bit old, i dunno, it was good, but nowhere near the 2 first, maybe because it didn't have this "college boys" essence in it, and some character where missing like Oz for exemple...
Bang Camp : I remember enjoying it, to use Matt Stifler was a nice idea, it was an "original character" that we saw really young now at an age to do the stupid things his brother did. It was fun, but i missed the original cast.
Naked Mile : Some scenes where pretty fun, for exemple the intro is hillarious, i love the drinking competition, always wanted to do that since i have a resistance to alchool that is pretty impressive... but overall it lack the funny factor present in the other ones, i didn't like that much the little guys. It was just missing gags and i just didn't laught as normally in these movies.
Beta House : There we go with number 6... Using some character from the naked mile, i had doubt...but in the end, it became one of my favorites, on part with the original 2. There is laughting all the way, its a lot unrealistic on the naked girl aspect, stripper club and other things, but its just so funny, i laught all the movie and i think its what its mean for. In Naked mile i just tought Erik was a "Jim copy" but here he got a lot more of his style, Dwight was also different from the naked mile, getting more personal style, and i loved the new characters. I really enjoy this movie, and i hope they do a #7...
This is probably the worst movie that I've ever seen and I've seen every single Friday The 13th movie (even Jason becomes a giant demonic slug that possesses people AKA Jason Goes To Hell and Lost In Space The Jason Vorhees Chronicles AKA Jason X).
The Friday The 13th series is so bad that it's good because ofthe predictability of the movie makes it stupidly entertaining and at the very least there is a story with actual characters even though they are very stock and exist only to be murder victims.
In comparison this movie is like a low grade amateur soft core porno with a storyline and second hand stereotyped characters that serve only as set dressing to hide the fact that its really all about gratuitous sexual behavior and idiotically juvenile attempts at "being men".
The comedic aspects of this film are so lacking because the writers obviously aren't smart enough to understand that being subtle can put a joke over in a much better way than just hammering the audience over the head with childish humor and crass jokes.
I've always found it much more entertaining to watch a smart person like John Clease or Rowan Atkinson play a stupid or evilly scheming character (just watch 5 minutes of any episode of Black Adder or The Thin Blue Line and you'll see what I mean) because they are very smart men who are capable of giving the character some redeeming aspect to their personality whereas every one in this movie is written to be as stupid unlikeable and irritating as possible (there are things some of these characters could teach to tropical skin diseases about how to be irritating)and therefore have no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
This movie is so creatively bankrupt that no reputable distributor would release it into theaters they had to go to a known distributor of bad movies to get a direct to DVD release that says a lot now doesn't it(it should have been a direct to the less than ten dollar DVD discount bin at Wal-Mart and Blockbuster.

Oh well. I thought it was a welcome return to form after 4 & 5 - I know I should know better at my age to watch this rubbish, but hey, it keeps me young and helps me understand "da kidz".
Seriously, there's worse ways to spend 90 minutes or thereabouts than anything with Jim's Dad's character in it.
In my honest opinion, I thought Beta House was suppose to be humorless, I like who they cast as stifler, he had charisma and screen presence. I know the studio is milking this franchise, but what did you expect them to do. The first two were worth seeing, the rest are okay.
Btw, Book Of Love sucked so bad.
