Real-life, Cartoon, or CG?

Will this be real life, like a mixture of computer generated creatures like the new Charlottes Web, an animated cartoon, or Fully computer generated movie?

Anyone?

Yes that is prob the best route...I just wonder if they have enough money in the budget to make it nice. I love this story, I hope they do it justice.

Well if i remember correctly...A boy gets a handmade Velveteen Rabbit for Christmas ( think in his stocking) he loves it but it gets lost in all the other wrapping and excitement of the other toys he gets that day.

It gets put on a shelf after a while I think, he cannot find his favorite toy to sleep w/ and his mother gives him the bunny off the shelf, then after time it becomes his favorite...well he gets really sick (scarlet fever) and after he is better the doctor orders his parents to burn all the linens he slept on and clothing and toys he played w/ including the bunny.

well the bunny is set outside and about to be burned when he crys a tear, a Real tear, and depending on which version either a fairy or he turns himself into a real bunny.

A lot of details i left out like the bunny's relationship talking w/ the boys toy horse and them having a pinic outside and he is confronted by real rabbits. But you get the picture.

Partly real-life (beautifully acted and directed) and partly animated cartoon with star-name voices. No CGI. Very true to the original story.
