I was just telling my wife the same thing. I know the writers thought they were being clever, but they were mistaken. I would rather have known up front that she had died. The way the movie is, however, makes it horribly irritating.

Actually I think the fact that Lisa was dead, and had not just absconded, was about the only interesting plot development in a dreadful movie.
