A few questions...

I'm not usually one for computer games and I've never participated in an MMORPG before, but I do looove LOTR and Shadows of Angmar has caught my eye. But I have a few questions before I go out and buy it. I'd be much obliged for any answers.

1) What are the system requirements for the game?

2) What are the playable areas of Middle-earth?

3) Is there anything important I need to know about MMORPGs in general or will I be alright picking it up as I go along?

4) What are the classes all about (Burglar, Captain, etc.)? Do they affect gameplay?

5) Is the combat in the game similar to other games which involve fighting?

6) What happens if you "die" in the game?

7) How do classes (Burglar, Captain, etc.), vocations (Armorer, Explorer, etc.) and professions (Farmer, Weaponsmith, etc.) differ? Do they affect one another?

8) Do you get to name your character yourself?

9) Can your character be from somewhere non-playable, Gondor for example?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Ill answer as best as i can without walking all the way upstairs to look at the box

1) i would recommend a p42.8, 6800gt 1gig ram minimum

2) alot of it lol, advisable to stay in and around the level of monster youre fighting though, move to far out and the monsters are designed for higher leveled players, so youl get pasted.

3) You should be ok, just get into a kinship (team / clan) early on and they should help

4) they're about what type of gameplay you will have, wether youl be going out on the front line and smashing orcs with a hammer, or standing in the back healing others.

5) no, difficult to explain, you click the moves/skills you want to use basically

6) you respawn at a designated area, with lowered stats for about 6 mins or so

7) well an explore can explore lands, mine for metals then sell to weapon makers/armorers, in turn they sell to other, thats it at its simplest

8) yes

9) yes, if you choose to be a man
